Headteacher’s Welcome
It is a pleasure and a privilege to be Headteacher of Ponsbourne St. Mary’s School. We are a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School, which was founded in 1847. As a small village school, we are fortunate to be able to get to know our children and families very well and visitors always remark on the friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Our children are taught in small mixed-age classes.
We benefit from being situated next door to Ponsbourne church and attend a service there every Monday morning. The Christian values of Respect, Love, Forgiveness, Trust, Peace , Hope and Wisdom are central to all we do. Our grounds are beautiful and we make excellent use of our forest area in weekly Forest School sessions, run by a qualified leader.
We are always delighted to show you round. Please contact us to make an appointment.
