Summer Term 2023
Spring Term 2023
We had lots of fun on World Book Day celebrating our love of reading. The children shared their props and the rest of the class guessed their character. Later on in the day, the children from Discoverers came in to share a book.
Thank you very much to Dr Groombridge and Mrs Holdcroft for coming in to speak to the children about being a vet. The children loved exploring all of the equipment and asked many questions.
Autumn Term 2022
We had a wonderful time at our Book and Biscuit event. Thank you to our lovely parents for joining us in our classroom and sharing a book.
Adventurers have had another busy week. We have been doing lots of writing and maths activities in Reception and the Nursery children have been learning more nursery rhymes. We had a lovely time at Forest School where we collected leaves before making Autumn masks.
We have had a busy week. The children have been practising their letter formation and writing CVC words. We had lots of messy fun.
The children have had a lovely week with Mrs Bower covering the class. Here are some of the things that the children have been doing.
The children in Adventurers gathered natural materials today for their forest art. They then brought their findings back into the classroom to create their art work.
The children in Reception cooked pizzas today in their cooking lesson. I hope they were tasty!
The children went to Forest School for the first time today. They explored the area and found many interesting things.
The Reception children have had a great start to their time in Adventurers. They have spent the first two days exploring their new classroom and finding lots of things to do. Have a look at what we have been doing.
